Style is only one essential part of what makes us who we are.
Tips for Winter to come!
There are many places to visit in Colorado and to have fun even in the cold wet snow. Some of our favorite places to ski at is; Winter Park Resort, Steamboat, Beaver Creek, Vail, and Keystone.
When headed to Colorado make your decision based upon where you want to ski. The reason for this is even if you don’t ski the resorts are all very nice and very accommodating. If you are looking for a low key local hot spot with not a lot of families and kids and somewhere you can cruise down the mountain top to bottom, we highly recommend Winter Park. They have some of the best slopes and you can do top to bottom 6 times in one day. Beautiful views and you can even eat on the mountain and have some of the best buffalo. We recommend get reservations at the Zephyr Mountain lodge as soon as possible.
Our next place to stay and ski at would be Vail. In the beginning, we were not a huge fan but we had to get our equipment fixed and wait till we got some pow (powder). The second day we were dumped with 3 feet of snow and immediately hit the back bowls. They seem daunting and a little scary at first but they are some of the best runs we have seen in Colorado. The best part about skiing the back bowls is that you can escape from reality and head down Siberia Bowl and just flow on top of the snow. We recommend staying at the Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, or the Arrabelle Hotel. The accommodations are the top you can get and the staff are very kind and very helpful.
We like Hawaii Small Island most. When we go there we always take a day to drive around the Island and see the animals and North Shore Surf. Hawaii is the perfect place to do everything you want. You can lay by the ocean or the pool and learn to surf with one of the many hotel professional surfers. You can find the surf schools right on Waikiki Beach. There are many places to stay while in Waikiki Royal Hawaiian, the Sheraton and Moana are the prime hotels we have stayed in, in Waikiki. Even more if you are looking for a beer…. Well Yard House has over 50 on tap. They are centrally located and not to far from the Sheraton and the Royal Hawaiian. For the adventurous people you can hike up to the top of Diamond head or take bikes out and ride through the trails. For more family friendly things to do you can ride horses, go snorkeling, or even have dinner and a traditional Polynesian show at the Sheraton.
